Zero Guilt Brownies

For us sweet-toothed chocolate fans, brownies are the top of the tree when it comes to indulgence foods. My Zero Guilt Brownies get all of the dials spinning and are made in record time.

These high protein, low sugar brownies are the perfect treat.

INGREDIENTS

Makes 6-8 brownies

1 heaped tbsp raw cacoa powder - I use Choc Chick
1 heaped tbsp chocolate protein powder - I use Sun Warrior Warrior Blend
1 tbsp honey - I use Rowse
2 medium sweet potatoes
3 heaped tbsp cashew butter - I use Meridian
Slither of butter - I use Kerrygold
Few drops of flavoured essence - I use Orange Extract

DIRECTIONS

1) Chop and boil the sweet potatoes until soft.
2) Mix the mashed sweet potatoes in a bowl with the remaining ingredients.
3) Empty the mixture into a grease-proof backing tray and place in a preheated oven at 180 C.
4) Bake for 20 mins or until the top begins to harden.
5) Remove from the oven and allow to cool before refrigerating until completely cool, allowing the brownies to firm up.
6) Slice and serve.

Give them a try and let me know how you get on :)
